Local Collections

Mission Statement

The Johnson County Community College Archives serves as the College memory. It is responsible for:

  • Identifying, collecting, and preserving the official records of JCCC
  • Providing facilities for official records
  • Providing information services to the JCCC community, citizens of Johnson County and researchers
  • Stimulating and nourishing creative teaching and learning
  • Serving research and scholarship needs
  • Promoting knowledge and understanding of the College’s origins, aims, programs and goals
  • Facilitating efficient College records management

Using the Collection

Archives Catalog

Access to archival collections can be made by contacting the JCCC Archives staff prior to your visit so the archives staff can locate and prepare the requested materials.

Appointments to examine the materials can be made:

8:30am – 4:30pm
